Jessica Chiriboga, President

Jessica Chiriboga ("Jess") is a '24 from Glendora, California studying History and Government. Jess serves on several campus committees and working groups, including the Provost’s JED Steering Committee for mental health and the Dialogue Project Steering Committee for dialogue skill-building. Her advocacy and DSG pilot programs, as DSG’s former Mental Health Committee Chair, have directly led to Uwill teletherapy and the Headspace App being offered to all undergraduates and sun lamps being available for check-out in the Dartmouth Library and from Dartmouth Athletics. This past year, Jess created the Tranquility Room in the Student Wellness Center using an American Eagle Future Together grant, updated our Wellbeing Resources Google Map, and oversaw the creation of DSG’s Idea Lab for Mental Health. In Student Government, she also promotes freedom of expression and dissent, student voting, sexual violence prevention, sustainability, equity & inclusion, and student leadership. At Dartmouth, she serves as President of the Dartmouth Political Union, Vice President of Within (LGBTQ+), and is involved with the Dartmouth Outing Club, the Dartmouth Law Journal, and Sigma Delta sorority. After graduation, Jess will attend the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. Jess enjoys backpacking and eating ice cream in her free time. Fun fact: she is a quadruplet with three brothers!


Kiara Ortiz, Vice President

Kiara Ortiz is a ‘24 from New York City and studies Neuroscience and Public Policy. As a Vice President, she advocates to improve mental health infrastructure, increase academic accessibility, and relieve financial barriers for students. She co-chairs the Student Life committee and works on distributing Dartmouth Coach vouchers, restocking the food pantry, late-night dining, and more. Outside of Student Government, Kiara is a proud member of QuestBridge and the Latine Caribbean Council. Additionally, she is a D-LAB facilitator, tour guide, policy research shop student, and an ophthalmic assistant at DHMC. In her free time, Kiara enjoys listening to Hamilton and sharing bad science puns.


Anthony Fosu, Chief of Staff

Anthony Fosu ‘24 hails from Keyport, New Jersey and studies Government and minor in Human-Centered Design and Public Policy. As Chief of Staff, he centers his passions in policy, design, and community by supporting various initiatives to improve student experience. Previously on the DSG, he helped co-chair the Student Aid Committee, working on increasing Greenprint Access, expanding Menstrual Product availability, and forming lasting relationships with Dartmouth offices like Information, Technology, and Consulting (ITC). He is passionate about improving the livability of Dartmouth for all students. Outside of Student Assembly, Anthony is an active member of the Apologia and Agape. He was a Rockefeller Center First-Year Fellow and advocates as a mentor with the NAACP Dartmouth Chapter, and currently is a UGA. Reach out to him, especially if you like custom-made flags!


Samay Sahu, Deputy Chief of Staff

Samay Sahu is a ’27 from Nashua, New Hampshire who is planning on studying Economics and History Before enrolling at Dartmouth, Samay held the position of National Chairman for the High School Democrats of America, earning recognition as one of the youngest members in Democratic National Committee history. Currently, he serves as an officer for the New Hampshire Democratic Party and as an ambassador to The Dartmouth Political Union. He is honored to serve as West House Senator as well as Deputy Chief of Staff. His main priorities are to push for the removal of financial barriers and enforced medians while ensuring that the perspectives and needs of his fellow students are heard and addressed.


Daniel Pruder, Project Director

Daniel Pruder is a '27 from Honolulu, Hawai'i. He is interested in pursuing a Government Major Modified with Economics and a Public Policy Minor. Aside from DSG, Daniel is active in Model United Nations and involved in the East Wheelock House Council, the Dartmouth Political Union, Dartmouth Democrats, and Hōkūpaʻa. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming, jogging, and traveling. A proud NAD, Daniel looks forward to working with students from different backgrounds to tackle Dartmouth's most pressing issues. He hopes to bring his experience in Hawai'i politics, especially regarding youth advocacy, to his service in DSG. Daniel is excited to represent East Wheelock '27s and advocate for them and the whole student body.


Roger Friedlander, Project Director


Roger Friedlander is a ‘27 from Rochester, New York. He plans to pursue a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with a minor in Public Policy. As Project Director, Roger organizes and manages the tasks of DSG’s Mental Health Committee. He is committed to addressing constituents’ concerns across all aspects of student life. Outside of DSG, he is involved in the Dartmouth Political Union, the Irving Institute for Energy & Society, the Dartmouth Law Journal, and the club ice hockey and baseball teams. In his free time, Roger likes to fly fish, listen to music, and play golf. If you see him around campus, always feel free to say hi!


Favion Harvard, Finance Director

Favion Harvard ’26 is serving as an elected West House Senator. Currently serves as DSG’s Special Programs and Events Committee (SPEC) representative and on the Student Life Committee. Excited to be working on issues in DSG and solutions that help students!


Ian McKenna, Deputy Finance Director

Ian is an Econ major from Cleveland, Ohio. He is a senator for DSG and serves on the ’27 Class Council board. Other places you can find Ian are on the squash courts, at the Magnuson Center, or in his instructor jacket at the Dartmouth Skiway. Outside of Dartmouth, Ian is committed to his philanthropic and entrepreneurial efforts, having run multiple successful fundraisers during his gap year and most recently this January launching his own business, Neurofeedback Hanover. Ian’s favorite part about Dartmouth is “definitely the people” claiming “they are so awesome you just don’t find fun, driven, and adventurous people like this anywhere else.”


Ale Carrasco, Communications Director

Alejandra Carrasco is a Dartmouth Student from Lima, Peru. She is a Sociology mod. Latin American and Caribbean Studies and Education major. Alejandra is involved with Magnuson Student Leadership Board, DartUP (Social Entrepreneurship club), Chess Club, Global Issues Scholars, Team director of Dartmouth Women Investment Fund, Vice president of The Women's Network at Dartmouth and Senator at the Student Assembly at Dartmouth. She is also part of the FYSEP community and King Scholars. Before joining Dartmouth, she was former CEO–now Ambassador and CO-Founder of Wawa Laptop, the first eco-friendly laptop made in Peru. Also, she Co-found the NGO AEPEX (Peruvian student’s abroad association) to democratize the information for low-income students about the application process to colleges’ in the US.


Ranvir Deshmukh, Communications Director

Ranvir Deshmukh ’26

Ranvir Deshmukh hails from India and is a dedicated Computer Science Major. With a fervent passion for startups, Ranvir is an embodiment of entrepreneurial spirit. He is currently steering a new venture, "Meme Me," which is set to launch on the Dartmouth campus by the upcoming winter.

Beyond this, Ranvir actively participates in the Startup Entrepreneurship Education and Discovery (SEED) club, further underscoring his commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial culture. His aspirations extend to enhancing the student experience at Dartmouth. He's keenly focused on addressing challenges such as laundry issues and expanding late-night dining options. Through his endeavors, Ranvir's mission is clear: to work diligently for the Dartmouth Community, ensuring that it not only thrives but also becomes more accessible and accommodating for all its students.


Nicolás Macri, Town Affairs Liaison

Nicolás Macri is a democracy advocate, victorious campaign manager, social sciences researcher, town government official, LGBT+ community advocate, experienced multi-sector chief administrator, housing, transit, walkability, and bikeability advocate, social media personality, and undergraduate student at Dartmouth College. Interested in government, Nico focuses on voting rights, gerrymandering prevention, election law, community development, housing abundance, and active transportation. Engaged in Hanover, NH politics, Nico has led multiple campaigns, turning out thousands of voters, electing Jennie Chamberlain to the Selectboard, serving on town government committees, and enacting zoning law reforms. Leading in Sophomore Trips, the Disco Troll team of the Ultimate Frisbee program, Film Society, the Rockefeller Global Leadership Program, Glee Club, and the LGBTQIA+ community club Within, the “real Nico” also enjoys comedic attempts as an element of mock public image branding, employing satire in his choral, musical theater, and social media bios to exemplify “personality” and “humor”, which he assures to all is deeply successful.


Daniel Cai, Deputy Town Affairs Liason

Daniel Cai is a ’26 from Westchester County, NY, and Beijing, China. He is currently undecided major-wise and is curious to explore many academic fields at Dartmouth. On campus, Daniel is involved in Model United Nations, Army ROTC, Great Issues Scholars, Club Swimming, Cabin and Trail as an avid hiker, and still looking to try out more. He’s concerned mainly about mental health on campus, but also hopes to improve Dartmouth students’ quality of life. Daniel enjoys the outdoors, basketball, debating, newspaper reading, and sleeping. He’s a fan of the Brooklyn Nets living deep in Celtics territory. If you see him walking or biking around campus, please stop him and introduce yourself!
