A Letter from the Student Body President
A LETTER FROM THE STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT
TRAVIS GREEN ‘08
Welcome to the Student Assembly! This year, we're working on a variety of projects focused on issues that matter to all members of the Student Body. You'll be hearing a lot from me and from the rest of the Executive Board about our goals for the year. We're excited to have you on board, and hope that you are as passionate about making this College the best educational institution we can (while having a lot of fun in the process).
Soon, you will be assigned one or more projects to work on. Those projects represent the real work of the Assembly, and your committment to them will make the Assembly succeed in its goals: "to provide for the support and development of all aspects of the educational process, to improve the quality of life at the college, to responsibly represent the student body, to provide a responsible student voice, and to supply the basis for cooperative action." It's less intimidating than it sounds.
You will be the Dartmouth's next group of leaders, and the Executive Board is here to help you along the way. We're always available to help with a project, or just to chat about life. I look forward to meeting each of you, and thanks for dedicating yourself to helping your fellow students.
