Alumni Affairs Committee

Alumni Affairs (subcommittee) will connect the student population to the alumni body through various different programs. We hope to strengthen the relationship between current students and alumni.

Upcoming projects/goals:

Student- Alumni Housing

• Alums could host a student in his/her home or perhaps offer recommended housing during a student's off-term
• Future Actions
  • Meet with Alumni Office to set up an online link on the YADA website for Alumni specifically to list housing available in there area's or work
  • Research more schools that help set up Alumni-Student Housing
  • Generate a list of interested alumni to contact especially in the Washington DC, NY, and Boston area

Student Alumni Link (SALs)

• A program that links students to their respective alumni clubs
• Keeps alums updated on campus life
• Helps club in organizing events with students.
• Through SALs, SA will also be connected to the Alumni.

Moose Mascot

• Keep the alumni involved in the ongoing process of debuting an official mascot
• Future Action
  • Possibly send a letter about the Moose to alumni after receiving positive feedback
