SEEDS
General Info
Mission:
SEEDS promotes development activities which are socially beneficial and financially sustainable, and which will work to counter poverty both at home and abroad.
About:
SEEDS, the Social Enterprise and Economic Development Society, is an undergraduate student organization at Dartmouth College. We organize lectures and panels to educate SEEDS members and the wider campus about social enterprise. We develop student-led social enterprise projects that will benefit both residents of the Upper Valley and people in the developing world. Finally, we are a learning community and pre-professional forum for students interested in pursuing economic development work beyond their time at Dartmouth.
As a part of the organization, SEEDS Consulting Group works with microfinance institutions on consulting projects related to Management Information Systems (MIS), expansion, data analysis, and more.
We welcome students of all majors and years to join.
